Nursing brings together the science of medicine with the art of caring. Nurses can assist with many aspects of health and healing and act as a bridge between the patient and the health care system. Family members need support and information, too. We are available to help all.
Visiting a doctor can be overwhelming . Do you have something you are concerned about and are considering seeing a doctor, but don't know where to begin when you get there? When you get there, do you feel rushed and forget to tell the doctor everything? We can help you present your health care concerns and questions in a clear, concise, organized manner. By making yourself clear, your doctor can help you more effectively.
Medical conditions, tests and treatments can be confusing and frightening . Are you awaiting a diagnosis or a plan of treatment, but don't know what questions to ask when you get the results? Do you understand what you are being told? We'll help you with a list of questions to ask so when you leave the doctor's office you will have as much information as possible to make informed choices and/or start your treatment plan.
Medications usually come with lots of information, but the medical jargon can sound like a foreign language! Bring in your medications and we'll go through step-by-step in explaining what they do, how to take them and what side effects might happen. If we need more information, we will contact the Pharmacy and ask on your behalf, then explain in regular language instead of medical terms.
Pre and post operative care needs to be planned, so that worries and stress are reduced . Feeling some sense of control goes a long way to improved recovery. We can help prepare you for what to expect and how to prepare for the best possible outcomes.
Nurses care about you and your family. Let us show you.
