Australian Naturopath and Aromatherapist, Robbi Zeck, created the Aromatic Kinesiology protocol offered here at the Centre . This protocol uses an "Aromatic Emotional Barometer " to determine essential oils to use on acupressure points. This baromater places essential oils into four categories: spiritual, emotional, mental and physical. Within these categories, the essential oils are described with word pairings that reflect positive and negative emotional aspects associated with the oil.
I was curious as to how some of the common essential oils we use at this time of year for immunity, stress, colds and flu, are described with this emotional barometer . Here are a few of this season's essential oils for your consideration:
Spiritual Level
Melissa grateful ---- resentful
protected ---- vulnerable
Myrtle illuminated ---- disheartened
Emotional Level
Cinnamon connected ---- withdrawn
Pine worthy --- inadequate
Bergamot encouraged -- saddened
Mental Level
Basil expressive -- insecure
Clove open --- controlling
Eucalyptus integrated --- overwhelmed
Physical Level
Ravensara definite --- tentative
Thyme dynamic --- powerless
Tea Tree understanding --- intolerant
It is easy to see that by having more of the positive attributes, one's emotional health would be stronger. This would, in turn, have a positive effect upon the body's immune system. And that means better health.
A full Aromatic Kinesiology consultation will show you much more than this. And you will be surprised at what you discover about yourself!
